2nd Time in a Row, Terrible Service. Waiter was decent but food took forever and was terrible.
My fiance and I like most people, live paycheck to paycheck but like to set aside money when we can to treat ourselves to a nice night out where we spend more than what we do on any given restaurant visit. We went on a Tuesday evening. We always order prime rib when we come here and it was not mentioned once to us that the restaurant was out of and had been out of prime rib for over an hour…. Long story short, we ordered rib eyes. Our steaks were brought out but apparently they were out of mashed potatoes as well so only one of us had our whole meal, I had to sit and wait for my side while my steak got cold and my fiance ate….No apology of any kind was given. We spent close to $80 and felt very let down.We then sent an email to the owner who promised to make it right with us but after waiting for over a week for what was offered, we had no choice but to assume that our business wasn’t that important to them. Quite disappointing considering that this USED to be our favorite place for a special date or occasion but now we’ll have to spend our hard earned money at one of their competitors. They better pray that Texas Roadhouse doesn’t come to Twin Falls because their customer service is second to none. Nothing like this would have happened in the first place but if it had, they would have made it right not made empty promises and apologies.
Every time I return to the Outback it gets worse. The cut of meat is worse and it’s never cooked correctly. This time I ordered a ribeye, medium. The less than 1/2 inch thick steak came back well done, 50% gristle and fat. They were also out of Fosters. It’s my trip to this ever declining franchise.
