Get what u pay for. Idaho fries deep fried in peanut oil, you can’t be beat that for fresh quality taste. They have the best cajun seasoning for fries and not every place has special sauce you can get yourself!! Not to mention shelled peanuts you can eat as much as you like.Caution, they are on the spendy side ,so plan to spend a few more dollars for a enjoyable meal. This would be a once in awhile treat place for the budget!

All Hype. Many people always told me Five Guys was the best burger place ever. Some even said it was better than In-N-Out. Burgers were good – not super great. Fries are okay at best. The only plus is that they give you a lot of fries for what you pay. But if i’m going to pay $7 for a burger, I might as well pay a little more and go somewhere else where the burger’s are fresher and not fast food. A step up from Burger KIng but not much.

We went to Five Guys because of all buzz about it. When we went we were not impressed. The staff was friendly. The food was expensive and okay but not anything that stood out. We will probably not be back.

Tastes like Five Guys Burger. The thing about a place like this is they have a distinctive taste. It’s like how an In and Out burgers taste uniquely like In and Out burgers. So, this isn’t the best burger I’ve ever had, but it tastes good and unique and like its own thing, distinctly like a 5 Guys Burger. One complaint is that they only offer one type of bun (sesame) and one type of cheese (american). But again, they have their taste, so it’s not a gourmet burger, it’s a Five Guys burger and will taste like it.Just to test them the last time I went I ordered just about all the fixins: tomato, lettuce, grilled mushrooms and onions, bacon, cheese, and I didn’t realize the first time I went, but apparently all burgers come with double patties. I was delighted when I got my burger and it was taller than it was wide, but not at all unmanageable! I was able to squish it down and eat it just fine due to the foil wrap, with minimal falling apart. The fries were good and crispy (though, as with all fries best eaten soon or they’ll get a tad soggy by the time you get home). They only offer ketchup and fry sauce at their condiment stand (not sure if you can get any other sauces from the condiment counter), but the fry sauce is some of the best in town. All in all, the two times I’ve been it has been great. It’s not a gourmet burger that will be the best you’ve ever had, but it will have a unique, specific taste. I keep finding people that snootily claim it’s not the best burger in town… no, probably not. But it’s darn good, one of the more unique burgers in town, and really pretty cheap for all you’re getting.

Expensive and wrong. I ordered a single burger (small), small fries, and a small soda for a total of $8.35.My burger had mushrooms which I didn’t want.I couldn’t believe it! I should have gone to Red Robbin instead.

Love the burgers hate the fries. Great burger real meat mmm I tried the Cajun fries not so good I like in and out fries but not these just get the burger hold the fries a little spendy though.

Cardiologist’s best friend. This stuff will kill you, but what a way to go! Five Guys gut-bombs are well done and done well. There’s an obvious commitment to quality in both the food and its preparation/presentation. No doubt, the refreshingly simple menu allows them to focus on these few things, and they get it right. The fresh fries are almost In-N-Out good; however, these have skins on. I do have two knocks on Five Guys: First, you’ll need a buddy to share even the smallest (regular) size order of fries – while portion control might be heresy at a place like this, those of us who want to live past 50 would welcome less obscene portions. More significantly, Five Guys seems to be following Krispy Kreme’s business plan, with stores springing up EVERYWHERE. While this became KK’s undoing, I’m hopeful that Five Guys will maintain its high standard of quality and not become so common as to lose its appeal. Lord knows, this needs to be an occasional, special indulgence and not an everyday lunch option!
