Try the Enchilada Omelet. Amazing food! The Enchilada Omelet had homemade enchilada sauce as well as house made chorizo. It is so good! Big enough to split or else make sure you come hungry!
Ok for one the jams in this place are amazing and the price of food is cheap. You might think because it is cheap quality suffers. Trust me it does not me and my wife walked out with smiles on our face and full bellies for under $15.
Great Pancakes. You have to try the Oatmeal Cookie Pancakes, they are the best of the best. All the food is great but make sure you order one of these babies as your breakfast bread side if not as the entire entree!
Worst Breakfast Experience Ever!. I have never been to Egg Factory before, and I’ve heard nothing but good about The Egg Factory (on State Street) since they opened. I cannot say anything close to good about our experience at the Egg Factory on Fairview. When our party of 8 entered we were greeted with a friendly hello and were seated within 5 minutes. (Unfortunately the only real good thing that came of our dreadful morning experience.)We waited more than an hour for our food which only parts of were mediocre at best and much of which was not cooked correctly, or not cooked at all!The egg white omelette had egg shells in it and the garden omelette had a huge chunk of cardboard cooked into it!!!Once seated the waitress brought us some waters and took our drink order. We sat and talked with one another for about 15 minutes (without our ordered drinks) when the waitress finally returned to take our food order. Once food was ordered we didn’t see her again for almost 20 minutes when she came to bring us our drinks (subtract 1 black coffee which we didn’t get for another 10 or so minutes only after asking for it twice more).We waited for almost another 45 minutes before finally telling the only other waitress that if our food was not brought to us within the next 10 minutes that we would be leaving. She immediately went back to tell our waitress who then discussed our order with the kitchen staff (a conversation my father and I overheard and gathered that they had not even started 2/3 of our food order!!) Within 5 minutes the waitress was rushing our food out as it was ready apologizing for the delay as she did so. We reluctantly ate the mostly cold, half improperly prepared food that was brought to us when my brother exclaimed that he had just found a large piece of cardboard in his omelette. He then showed us a 2 inch long 1 inch wide chunk of cardboard he had pulled from his food. Minutes later my sister was complaining about a bunch of white grainy chunks in her partially uncooked egg white omelette. When she held up a pinch we all looked over to find egg shells in her hand!By the end of our meal I realized my grandfather, who is the least picky eater I’ve met in my life had barely touched his plate. His food was barely warm and looked as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour.Throughout this mess of a breakfast we saw 2 other parties get up and leave because they had been waiting for at least an hour for their orders which were never brought. (They were lucky enough to get out before they were bombarded with a slew of slop not worthy of pigs).It is my opinion that this location needs to completely replace their cooking staff and invest in expanding the number of wait staff they have on the clock at any given time if they have any hope of staying profitable.This is definitely one place I will never willingly step foot in again!
Different, Yet The Same. It was very good. They have all the normal typical food cook great and then theres some items that are new and are extremely well done! Ive been there countless times and have nothing bad to say as of yet. As far as service, i havnt had a bad server/waitress, but then again im not picky and snobby either… So take it with a grain..
I can’t believe this place got good reviews!!!!! It must be everyone in here is 60+ that reviews this place and just doesnt care about taste anymore!!! Wow never again will I do this place food cold and stale Honestly just not good
