No Chicken? Outdated Menu!. Had a short amount of time for lunch and decided to get a chicken gyro from here – drive through. Been here before and it was awesome. Pulled up and ordered chicken gyro and was told they did not have chicken. Pointed out that the menu on the outside of the restaurant had a whole section for chicken. Was told again, they have no chicken. Was given a paper menu and told to ignore all the chicken items. Decided on the (BIG) Greek Salad. VERY disapointed. It cost $6+ for half a cucumber sliced with some onions and tomato. It came 4 quarters of pita bread. Not filling at all and expensive for what you get. Will not be coming back.
ChefmasterD. When I have a craving, it’s for this place. Their spicy Gyro is absolutely fantastic, and I always get their fries in some form. They have some of the best french fries i’ve ever had, the owner says it’s because he changes the oil often and has a secret technique. You have to try the Santarini french fries, fries with tzaziki sauce and feta just fantastic. The owner is very personable and always excited to see me. This is by far my favorite food place in Boise. Oh don’t forget to ask for his bottled pepsi, not the gross corn syrup kind he’s got the old fashioned real sugar kind. The best part, compared to the other Gyro shacks, this guy is from the home of Gyro’s they are his native dish and you can tell the difference. The bad part, the owner won’t let anyone cook, he says he can’t trust they will offer the same quality so he won’t hire help to make this fast food like we Americans are used to, with that in mind you may have to wait a minute or two, but I would wait a week for quality food, all the food I get fast comes out fast for a reason. Quality over quantity my friends, a must try.

Tasty. They really do make a tasty Gyro and serve it up in many different ways.
I love it. I go to The Gyro House at least two times a week .I am in love with this place03 Aug, 2011Best Gyros in town. The best Gyros in Boise , Umm my favor their Unique SPICE CHICKEN DELUXE I love their chicken made from scratch
Delicious and authentic. And the service was great! The girl behind the counter actually walked our to go order around the counter to hand to us. Nice touch!
To start off I’m a fan of their pretty strait forward In-n-out style menu. Basically Gyro’s prepared different ways. If you like your Gyro traditional, they have you covered. Their traditional Gyro is just like the ones I would get at the Greek festival when I live in the L.A. Area. The last time I went I tried the Bacon Chesse Burger Gyro. I wanted to be different and wasn’t expecting much. I was shocked by how good it was. Not a burger but not a Gyro, but very good. I will be too get another one.
