The best sushi in the city in the most unexpected place. Super fresh and surprisingly cheap. No frills and no seating (other than the backseat from an old van), but great for takeout. Call ahead, it can take some time as they make everything by hand with limited staff. But it’s the real deal! instagram.com
You can’t eat here. It’s not open late. But the sushi has always been fresh, they have a great variety of tasty rolls, and the prices are INCREDIBLE! Sushi pieces for a dollar. Rolls start at $2.50. Go check it out!
Cheap Sushi Paradise. Omg. I’m nervous to let the word leak about this little gem but it’s too good not to share. It is such a good freaking value. Cash only? Yes. Total lack of seating? Yes (unless you count a seat that has been ripped out from a minivan.) But: delicious and soooo cheap. High, fresh quality with the starting price point of $1. Yes. One dollar. We were so overwhelmed with how cheap it was that we ordered almost everything on the menu; I remember being particularly impressed with the the mackerel and the white tuna. Looking forward to return again and again and again!
