First off, there are 3 locations, all in a row…lol… now you know if you can keep 3 restaurants, all right next to each other in operation you are doing something right! We went to the most recent build that is planning to add additional space (hence the large concrete slab by the parking lot). Order at the counter place, yet the decor of the space does not match that set up. The architecture and decor were wonderful, loved the blue lights and the corner alcoves… classy place for order at the counter set up. This was the final stop on the Food Coma trip to Chicago, and intentionally so as I wanted to take food home from here as well as indulge in lunch. If you are a tadigh fan, this is one of the few places I have found where you can get it. It is listed as an appetizer. It was gorgeously golden and delicious along with the side of ghormeh sabzi. The main was equally delicious and plenty of it. The owner was having his meal at the same time and we had quite a nice conversation, he was quite friendly and was concerned that my companion had food before I did, until I explained the tahdig, which takes a little longer but well worth the wait. Topped the lunch off with fig ice cream with a date reduction. Simply sumptuous Persian food. Great place for a casual but fun early in the relationship date place or for people who truly enjoy food variety. Noon o kabab and m. henry are worthy of a 5 hour one way drive just to enjoy both places for a rather long day trip.

Best Persian restaurant I have ever been to, hands down! The waitstaff was wonderfully attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. All recommendations were spot-on perfection. We had a platter of five kababs, each done to seasoned perfection. (See photo). In addition to the sweet rice, dilled rice and plain rice, we had tah dig with spinach, which was divine. I can’t wait to find a reason to come back. Forget this being my new favorite Persian restaurant – it is my new favorite restaurant, period!!!19 Apr, 2015Tadiq. Out of this world. I have had many tah digs. This was the best. We had the one with spinach.19 Apr, 2015Kababs: Salmon, Chicken, Filet Mignon, Lamb, Beef. Absolutely phenomenal! Each kabob was done to seasoned perfection.

Administrative assistant. Delicious, tasty, fresh, huge portions, great service.Wish I had picture to post. Great presentation even with delivery. Arrived warm ready to eat it is obvious they care about their customers. Life long customer from now on.

Decent Food, Terrible Service. We ate here on a weekend evening and the experience was disappointing to say the least. We waited far too long for anyone to come and ask us for any drink orders and the server was lackadaisical at best. Once we ordered, the food came in a timely manner, but then the server disappeared for most of the meal. She never once came back to offer refills or ask us how our meal was. The entire waitstaff huddled behind the bar, acting as if they’ve never taken food orders before. We were in and out within 75 minutes before the nighttime rush started. Overall, the food was ok, although my mother’s homemade Persian puts it to shame. My brother has eaten at Caravan and says the food there is much better. I hope so, as the Persian food options are dwindling in Chicago (Reza long ago lost my business).

What a fabulous place! The service was friendly and timely from the moment we entered and were greeted. Our server was knowledgable about items on the menu. The manager, Marie, stopped by our table just to check in and ended up recommending various main dishes to try. Finding out it was my birthday, she even brought a glass of wine to the table. Our selections of an eggplant appetizer, steak kabobs, salmon and shrimp kabobs, rice, and vegetables were well seasoned and cookedperfectly. It was honestly some of the best salmon I’ve ever had. Our server suggested two traditional Persian desserts with hot tea to finish. Both were tasty. The restaurant itself was clean, well lit, and the music sound level was enjoyable. We love to entertain and cook at home ourselves for family and friends, so when dining out, I have rather high expectations. Noon-O-Kabab more than delivers on that. Great tasting food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere, along with very reasonable prices make it a place we’ll be going back to frequently.

This is actually Persian cuisine. We’ve also eaten at Reza’s (also Persian) and this place is better, hands down! The large menu has much variety, and good, accurate descriptions of each item, so it should be easy to find something to suit you. One really special dish is an appetizer soup calles aash, which involves yogourt, a rich combination of herbs – very savory, but different enough to make it hard to describe. I’m especially partial to dishes involving pomegranate and love the pomegranate juice they offer. Special note: at each table is what looks like a sugar bowl but filled with a dark powder. It’s sumac, which adds a rich and savory depth to the entree – I use it in lieu of salt, and of course it’s much better for you. Service is great and prices are excellent. The one thing I don’t care for is the dessert selection. I love very rich Greek desserts, but found these desserts so cloyingly sweet I don’t like them. (Almost right across the street is a Middle Eastern bakery. If you want some nice desserts, I recommend theirs!

Good most of the time. My wife and I order from here all the time. The salmon kabob is great. The issue is it seems half the time the dill rice is over cooked and just plain nasty. It is hit or miss but when it is a hit it’s very good.
