We tried Mi Casa for a late lunch on Sunday. The space is large and roomy with lots of bright colors. Our waitress told us to pick a table and then she brought us menus and chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh and zesty. The chips crisp and crunchy.The menu is large. It has all the dishes you typically expect at an American Mexican restaurant plus a few surprises. We ordered the camarones a la diabla and la frontera. When our food came, the plates were really hot. The food was exactly what we wanted. The rice was light, the beans creamy. The steak, peppers, and onions on my frontera were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The tortillas also delicious. My only critique was that perhaps there was too much cheese? Is there such a thing as too much cheese? It was yummy, but just made the dish a bit heavy. My partner loved the chipotle sauce and shrimp.Good service. Reasonable prices. Mi Casa was a really good find. I’m glad we stopped there for lunch.
