We arrived 40 years too soon…. A supper-club clearly designed for seniors, Palm Court offers some fine selections at reasonable prices. The white table cloth layout is immediately inviting, but the floor plan leaves things a little cramped. We noticed when we first arrived at our table that even our waitress was having a bit of trouble navigating among the diners. Still, the quiet atmosphere was pleasing throughout our meal and we find ourselves quite content.The Alaskan Halibut I ordered was excellent, as were the Whipped Sweet Potatoes and Sauteed Spinach. My wife went Lo-Fi with the half chicken served with herbs and identical side selection, all of which she enjoyed. The Chardonnay I ordered came late and in a glass seemed more fit for a hobbit than human, but it still was refreshing and paired well with my fish. The minor offense was negated by the free Chocolate Lave Cake that was designed for us to share for dessert. It was a nice little meal and we left satisfied, though we both agree that being the youngest couple there by 35 years or so it may be some time until we give it another go.PROS: Good food, low price point, quiet atmosphere.CONS: Not targeted for young couples, crowded dinning area.
