I have been to Peggy Kinnane’s on various events for both lunch and supper. Suppers I’ve requested here are reliably great – the fish n’ chips sliders, to name one, is an awesome interpretation of the typical dish. On the off chance that you don’t care for the volume and lighting that is commonplace of a bar air, Peggy Kinnane’s offers outside seating in the hotter months which is a pleasant option.
Great atmosphere, but lacking most everywhere else. I have been here dozens of times. Bar and/or patio for drinks is your best option here. Other then that, forget it. Food is bland and overpriced while the service is inconsistent at best. I have had both good and horrible service here. I guess it depends on the night and the size of the crowd. 5 stars for happy hour w/friend, 2 stars if you’re looking for lunch or dinner.
Spectacularly slow service, but at least the food was terrible. It’s a neat looking place, but take a pass unless you’re there for anything more than a drink.
Over charged. Me ant 2 associates were there for lunch and drinks meeting. Had nice time until we tabbed out they tried to over charge one of us by 2 drinks . We pointed it out but they argued and sent manager over who also treated us poorly and was refusing to budge. Our bill was well over 100.00 and 2 drinks would have been nothing. But because the fat manager has no class he made us feel like never coming back again. Which we wont! Too bad Staff can make or break an experience. Better see John Taffer for some training.

Terrible Management. Pepper C.Cook, IL9/20/2009 I used to frequent Peggy’s. However, my boyfriend and I went there and both our orders were prepared wrong, even though we went over it with the waiter twice. That aside, my bf’s meal came out and 20 min later, he is done with his and I am told mine is still cooking. I sought out the manager who actually was the owner and very politely & professionally asked a) when my order would be up & b) if he could please remove the charge from our bill, as my bf had already finished his food. The owner immediately raised his voice at me, told me that’s his decision to makeand never get up to talk to him again. He then proceeded to bring over my food, sit down next to me, yell at me saying I went up to him refusing to pay, all until my boyfriend had to step in to get the OWNER of Peggys to stop yelling at me. He lied, screamed and took my food away, telling my bf to ‘take her home.’ At that point, we only had one beer. His excuse for yelling at his customer was that it was crowded in there. Neither myself not any of my friends will EVER go there again, and I highly advise others of the same. God forbid your food is made wrong; you’ll end up with a long wait and an extremely unprofessional owner yelling at you. Go to Harrys across the street instead.
Microwaved middle stil frozen food ignored by bartender and unfriendly wait staff. Avoid it.
