The Best Jerked Chicken on the SouthSide of Chicago. The Curry Chicken is always a good second option here as well. Dont bother calling in your order first, it doesn’t save you any wait time on your order. Let’s consider this place a pick-up only eatery, because the few small tables here are occupied by people waiting on there order. And, I believe the wait is well worth it. The Chicken is smoked as it supposed to be cooked when prepared authentically, and not just grilled. It is flavorfull and not dried out, you can actually taste that this Chicken captured the smoked flavor and the sauce theyve created pairs so well with this Chicken. I tend to always order the Chicken Dinner (half of chicken, cabbage, beans and rice) and a Ting (Ginger flavored soft drink). In my opinion, this captures the essence of the jamaican food experience. I’ve tried all the Jerk Food eateries on the South Side, and this place reigns supreme thus far. Enjoy !!!
