If you’re into heavy metal and burgers, this is the place for you! Loud music blaring makes me feel like a rock kid back in the 70s when giants ruled the earth! The food is good – I ate the spicy burger which came with pickles and peppers, it was really nice and the spicy kick kept developing until the last bite and beyond!

Let me tell you in the beginning: Much hyped place! The themed ambience is great. We had the Slayer, Led Zeppelin and Iron Maiden. The Slayer literally took out the beast in me and still I couldn’t slay it.It was huuuge!!Overall they were good. However,Au Cheval has better tasty burgers and definitely they aren’t the best in Chicago!

Went on a Wed night at 5:30pm…no waiting. Mac and cheese with bacon as side dish was off the charts. And flavorful like you would never expect for Mac and cheese. Burger types are plentiful and something for everyone. Make sure to get burger cooked Med-rare to get those juices flowing over everything. Beer choices are top notch and even have zombie dust on tap! Service was excellent. Also had the stuffed jalapeos with chorizo and cream cheese with a balsamic strawberry sauce…awesome flavor combinations!!

I couldn’t try all of their burgers that they have but the one I did try was the best burger I have ever had. Also really good service. There is sometimes where you have to wait a little bit longer but it is definitely worth the wait!!!

A Chicago original. Male your own combo Mac & cheese a must. I like bacon & mushroom. Burgers. BURGERS, Y’ALL. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Neurosis is my favorite. But can’t go wrong with any! Bourbon on draft. Solid beer list. Heavy metal blaring. Winner.

These are some pretty tasty burgers. I’ll leave it at tasty, because I’ve never had my mind blown here. They have a huge selection of burgers, all of them tricked out to the max, which makes them really fun and interesting. I personally enjoy a classic burger, with cheese and pickles, no bells and whistles. They’re good burgers, but definitely not the best in the city, or even the neighborhood. And then the wait, it’s ridiculous. Two hours? no thank you. If you haven’t tried them, give them a shot. Then go toAu Cheval and forget you were ever there. Props for the awesome beer selection.

I love you Kuma’s. One of my greatest achievements since moving here was finishing one of your burgers and everything else on my plate. I took a picture. I’m not ashamed. Maybe slightly. I appreciate that probably your wimpiest burger is named the Metallica, since the other metal bands in your burger list deserve the harder props. I’m a big fan of Lair of the Minotaur, and one of my friends would say she loves the Plague Bringer, but not its ensuing aftermath. You either like the tattoos and metal aesthetic of the place or you don’t. I’ve read stuff about the servers being pissy before which is total BS. Everyone does their job here as well and as quickly as they can. I’m not sure how I feel seeing most of the revamped Evil Dead on your TVs sans volume though. Evil Dead 2 ftw suckas!
