Without a doubt, the worst bar experience I’ve ever had. The hostess snapped at our group, made two of our members stand, and threatened us when I asked to speak with a manager. When we did speak with a manager and told her about the hostess, the hostess started yelling at us and the manager had to send her away. Not to mention, the drinks were basically sugar and alcohol. I will gladly never step foot inside of Lost Lake again, along with sparing as many people as possible from having to go here.

Tiki bars are just the best, especially this Logan Square (basically Avondale) spot… you’d pass right on by it if it weren’t for their fancy Chinese counter, Thank You.No matter when you go, you’ll probably have to stand in line — just like Three Dots, it’s one in, one out. I’m certain anyone would tell you it’s worth the wait. They just revamped their cocktail menu, and all of the drinks I’ve tried are delicious… recent favorites are Bunny’s Banana Daiquiri, Heaven Is A Place/This Is The Place (gin-based), and Curative Vibrations (bourbon-based).You really feel like you’ve escaped into a tiki paradise from the ’60s. The waitresses are adorable with their retro island-wear, and they actually keep a pretty good flow considering the bar’s small size. This is the first spot in Logan that I take any of my family/friends when they visit. Also a great date spot!

Wow. The only downside to this place is how quickly it became popular thus creating the long waits we all hate. But honestly, it’s for a reason. Everything about this place is crazy awesome. First of fall, it’s was created by Paul McGee. If you don’t know who he is, then you have been living under a rock. I have to point out that this is his second take on a tiki bar, and he nailed this one; by far. The atmosphere is super relaxing, warm and welcoming. It truly takes you away from the city to a tropical paradise. To add to that, the amazing staff is made up of familiar friendly wether it’s from Paul’s last project Three Dots, or from the bar’s restaurant group; Land & Sea, who happen to be the people that run Parsons, Longman & Eagle, CAA and more.the drinks are insane! Wether you want a well executed craft cocktail, or just feel like having a drink, Lost Lake has you covered. Their cocktail list is phenomenal, and they can make you any classic cocktail like the best of them. There’s literally nothing they’ve made for me that I haven’t been crazy about. Truly one of the best bars in the city, if not the best.

Paul Mcgee’s tiki drinks are always a winner. This place gets better with time, Cool atmosphere..Decent prices. Great Chinese joint that pairs with the bar. (Thank You) The drinks are so adorable similar to Three dots and a dash .. My favorite Tic tac taxi, Mystery gardenia and spinning infinity.tip:f you show up early enough you won’t have to wait an hour for a seat. instagram.com
