Just like D’Andrea’s use to be WONDERFUL!!. Well to my extremely pleasant surprise we found Tonini’s. It is the SAME homemade Italian sausage, beef, ravioli, meatballs & sauce we use to get at D’Andreas. We have been searching for years to find anything that compared & was so disappointed until today. The quality is there & well worth the price. $3.29Lb for sausage & $7.99Lb for beef. How can you beat that. Tonini’s has several other Italian items that D’Andreas didn’t such as homemade soup, gelato, entrees & KRUNCHER sandwiches. Oh my are those sandwiches fantastic. We had a Philly Cheese Steak one & a Meatball one. They are HUGE & incredibly good. We had never had anything like it & I think they were like 8 bucks each. You can feed 2-3 people with one sandwich. They also signed us up for email coupons. If you email them they will send you out coupons every few weeks. Whatever you do you have got to try this place. It brought back some of the best memories we were missing since D’Andreas closed. You won’t be disappointed in the food or the owners. Dave & his wife are so nice & helpful. It is great to support family owned businesses.

They have an incredible selection of meats, cheeses, salads, homemade food, cookies and bakery. Their Kruncher sandwiches are second to none. Always made on fresh, crunchy bread- their newest addition- the Cuban Kruncher- what a fabulous new twist to the traditional sandwich. And, their fried pizza is just awesome. From salads, to sandwiches, soups and gelatos…they are second to none!!! Conveniently located in Berwyn just steps from the Metra station. To try their food, is to love their food. Awesome!!!

Great!. I don’t live close to Tonini’s,but I’ve been here about 10 times since it opened & everthing I’ve bought here is fresh & great tasting!
Awesome Experience. I have been to many Italian Markets but this place is the Best. The owners & staff are very friendly & helpful. The store is loaded with everything Italian you could imagine at very affordable prices. They make their own Italian Beef & Sausage. The meat is lean with a lot of flavor. Their deli is packed with fresh lunch meats & cheeses. They have many homemade entrees that you can take home such as Lasagna, Eggplant Parmigiana & Florentine Stuffed Chicken Breast. When you walk into the store it is like walking into an Old World market. I highly recommend you try this place out.
Not always fresh. 3 times I have had spoiled or old tasting items from Tonini’s…I can see once, maybe even twice, but not 3 times. Don’t expect too much satisfaction from Dave or the deli staff. I felt like I commited some crime when I brought back some spoiled artichoke salad. I did get a replacement, but not before having to hear a mouthful from one of the deli people. I was embarassed!
