LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!. Stopped by Jimmy Jamms for the first time yesterday. I got the sweet potato cheese cake and the sweet potato pie. I absolutely loved the sweet potato cheese cake. It was light and fluffy and not overly sweet. The honey cream cheese topping was out of this world. I didn’t really care for the sweet potato pie. I perfer a buttery tasting pie. I will definitely be going back to try more. Even if you don’t like sweet potato, you have to try their food.

Best Sweet Potato Pie in Chicago. I became acquainted with Jimmy Jamm sweet potato pie when my niece had their pie at her wedding instead of your run-of-the-mill wedding cake. It was fabulous. The sweet potato filling is rich without being cloying and their honey cream frosting on the pie really makes it an incredible experience.I have since visited the restaurant and had the pleasure of meeting Harold, who was very welcoming and insisted that we try his tasty sweet potato ice cream.I had the sweet potato waffle with fried chicken special for lunch and it was terrific.Between the service and the unique, delicious food, Jimmy Jamm’s is definitely one of my favorites.
