People rave about this place! However, I found the burgers too overwrought. Complicated with ingredients that overpower the patty. But you can’t beat the atmosphere and throwback feel to this place.
Classic. One of my favorite places to eat on the Southside!!! Been eating here ever since I can remember, and nothing has ever changed. I’m going through withdrawals not living in Chicago anymore. Great shakes and best cheese fries EVER.
The best burger I have ever had. Growing up on the southside would not be the same without top notch. Worth coming home for time and time again
This IS a tasty burger. This is the best burger you can get in the area. The only burgers that top this for me are Fuddrucker’s or a little bar about an hour south of Chicago. If you don’t want to make that drive, hit Top notch for a quality burger.
GREAT BURGERS!!!. Moved from Chicago 25 years ago and Top Notch is still the BEST burger I have ever had. I have lived all over the US and try burgers every where and it still ranks as the best (and I am very discriminating eater). I have found a few others that are in that top tier with Top Notch but they are few and far between.
