Love the food, atmosphere, and people that work here. Anju and Epiphany are the best restaurants in town! If you like to drink adult beverages, try their old fashion. It’s delicious
First thing, the Hawaiian pizza was great! Although I didn’t expect to wait so long since we were the first few customers for the day. My fiance’s food came out promptly, and she was completely finished eating before my pizza came out. Otherwise, the service was good and so was the food.
One word~AMAZING! Haven’t had a bad thing off the menu. Korean BBQ wings are fantastic. The pretzel bites are really good. Anju Pork dumplings are yummy. White tuna roll is scrumptious. Love the Farm to Face, Tempura Shrimp & Gucci Cali Rolls. And the all out stellar stand out is the Scallop Nigiri-to die for!!!
Went on a Saturday evening. Even though it was a busy evening, service was very snappy. Food was good, small portions but fun to share. Drinks were also good. Only downside was it was a little loud so conversations were hard at times.
They took great care of our group. We recently had a group of about eight friends meeting here for dinner and we tried to sample as many things as possible on the menu. The dumplings (potstickers) were excellent; the steamed buns were better than I have had at other places; everything we tried was wonderful and the service was very good also. I would definitely go back.
Great drinks, great food. One of the best places I’ve been to in Bloomington. The food was fabulous as where the drinks. I very highly recommend it!
Eclectic and excellent. If someone were to tell you that a new restaurant served sushi, tapas, Korean steam buns, pizza or tofu silken doughnuts you would be suspicious that they could do anything well. That is not the case with Anju Above. The food is excellent and the small warm atmosphere is unique for Bloomington. The menu and the atmosphere work well for meeting a small group of friends, sharing tapas, and enjoying drinks in a casual setting. This is not a steak and potatoes kind of place. If that is what you are looking for you might want to order the Korean wings or simply visit the much different restraurant downstairs. The karate movies played on the background screens (Bruce Lee on this particular night) only add to the charm of this place. I will come back.
