Where’s the flavor?. After having quite a few nice meals at this establishment we were quite disappointed recently when we ordered two fish dishes, ceviche and fish tacos. The reality is, the dishes were just bland, sort of like creamy fish. No crunch from vegetables, no spice from salsa with respect to the tacos, and no acid zing from lime or anything else. Just creamy fish. Had corn tortillas been used, there might have been a little more flavor with respect to the tacos but alas, the chef chose flour. When we get over the disappointment and come back, we will be careful to choose dishes not intended for those who appreciate latin american flavors or fish. Sorry guys, you need to step up your game with respect to these dishes.
We got the ceviche appetizer and fish tacos. They were both very good. They have a wide variety of drinks also. I got the Cosmo and French blizzard. Both were amazing. We will definitely be going back.
Terrible Service, Unpleasant Place. We had made a reservation for a larger party (8) which took two tables, but we ordered appetizers and entrees and shared, which I thought was the point of Reality Bites. After we had been there an hour (not that long considering everything we had ordered), they asked if we would leave because they needed one of our tables! We hadn’t even had coffee or been asked about dessert. So we politely said that we wanted coffee and dessert, and they brought two of us a cup of coffee, but then again asked us to leave or SCOOT OVER and squash into one table so they could have the other one. It was outrageous. I’ve never been treated like that. The food was ok, but not special enough to go back after that treatment. I think the best item we had was a plate of brie and fruit, which was, you know, a chunk of cheese and some fruit. Not what you would call special. We never did get a second cup of coffee or the dessert menu so we left, which was what they wanted, I guess.
Fabulous food.service was excellent. Price was not bad. Bartenders recommendation of wine was spot on! Nice when wait staff knows what they are talking about
Really wanted to like this place. Atmosphere and service was good but we were very disappointed with the food. It needs to be better quality.
In theory this it’s a great restaurant. However, due to the rude staff and the overly priced yet subpar food I would in no way recommend this place. Been here several times and every time it’s an expensive disappointment.
Potential to be a fabulous place. But the owner/manager is very rude. We had an 8pm reservation on a Saturday night for a bday party. At 9pm he informed us we had to leave because of a private party. Not apologetic at all. Gave us $3 off our bill.
