Only authentic mexican food restaurant in the town of Bolingbrook. Have eaten here since it was Lalos and food nor service have ever been below acceptable. Great prices and more than enough per serving. DEFINETLY a must vist for seekers of authentic mexican cuisine.
This restaurant is not cheap. That being said, I thought the value was tremendous. Everything tasted excellent. You get a bowl of soup with you entree and a wonderful medley of pickled vegetables. Buchos gets 3 1/2 out of 4!
After a two hiatus from Bolingbrook, we returned to Buchos on the way to Great Lakes. Excellent dinner ! The sangria was terrific and loaded with fresh fruit, spicy salsa and carrots before the meal and our cheese enchiladas with rancho sauce were really good. Our server was friendly and the meal came rather quickly despite the restaurant being very busy. We were happy we returned.08 Apr, 2010This restaurant is a true gem. Great food and service. Reminds me of food at the border, great flavor! Spicy carrots served with chips. The sangria is awesome and full of fruit. Skip the chain restaurants and give Bucho’s a try !
Great place!. Great food! Great servers! The salsa was very good, best I’ve had lately. I was also impressed by the chicken soup. The server let us take our time and didn’t rush us to order. She was so nice!
It’s not that the food was terrible because it wasn’t. The food was pretty good and the service was as well. Its just that we were expecting something completely different than what we got. When I grade out Mexican spots I have 3 things I look for before anything else: 1. Chips and salsa 2. Cheese dip and 3. Price of the meal. The chips and salsa were too spicy for my taste (and I enjoy some spice). The Cheesedip was too expensive to even think about getting (over 9 bucks). And the price of the meals were a lot more than what we expected going in. (10 bucks for the cheapest meal). My wife and I drank water and our bill came out to almost 30 bucks after the tip. If u are willing to pay more and you like a lot of spice then you will probably love this place, but for the money there are a lot of other places I would rather eat.
Friendly, fast, and food was excellent! I can’t wait to go back.
Wonderful service!!! The sangria was delicious and so is their salsa (it has a bit of a bite that sneaks up on you after about five chips!). the enchilladas were very tasty and so is their rice and beans. This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had and I grew up in Texas with lots of Mexican food. If you are ever in the area and like Mexican food this is a stop you need to make!!!!
