I wouldn’t even rate them 1 star but that isn’t an option. I have been here on and off for years and they have never had great customer service. The company that I work at usually place carryout orders and each time, they are wrong. Well, a few months ago we ordered carryout and the order was completely wrong. We called and complained that very day and they said that they will issue us a credit for our 2 taco salads and we can use them on our next order. Well, we were all fearful of ordering from there again but we placed an order in July and guess what, they messed up the order again and then told me that I couldn’t use my credit because I needed the date and the name that the carryout was under. I politely said that I will pay for this order, get the information asked of me and try 1 more time.Just yesterday, we decided to order carryout for our final try with them. I had the information asked of me and was asked to get more information. Well, the credit was not issued, yet again. Why? Well, I gave the settled date and not the actual purchased date. I dealt with them multiple times and went around and around with the gal over there and when we went to pick up the order, no credit was issued. On top of that, our order was messed up AGAIN! I finally spoke to the gal again and she said that she would issue the credit for 2 taco salads which comes to roughly $18 and some odd change. Well, today she calls me and tells me that their records don’t even show that we ordered taco salads that very first order and that there won’t be a credit issued. At this point I’m sickened with the customer service there. As a manager of customer service myself, this is appalling to me! Even if your records don’t state it I would have thought by the 2x after the first time when the orders were messed up, as recently as the very day this is all going on, I would’ve credited my customer, especially for the inconvenience and false promise.I will say that the gal that I spoke to should have had her boss call me, but they didn’t. I advised that there will be at least 50 people that used to go there for lunches, after work drinks, etc and they are no longer clients. I guess that’s not a big deal to them and the $18 and some odd change is worth losing all of that. We will never give that company another cent. Sad.
Local favorite!!. Best cheeseburgers and pulled pork!! Great service, ice cold beer and lots of TV’s!!! Life is Good if you’re a sports fan

Consistently Delicious Food. My husband and I moved to Wheaton a year ago and began to search for a restaurant that we could call our favorite. It didn’t take long for Village to earn that title. We have been going there at least once a month and have ordered several different items throughout our visits, and I can honestly say every single thing we have ordered has been delectable. Our personal favorites include their famous chicken fingers (and yummy honey mustard), the chili cheeseburger, and the pot roast. The service has always been good even when it is very busy. They have specials every day, which is great for those of us who frequent often. The best part of VTG is that their menu is very affordable, which is hard to come by in the Chicago area. Thanks for becoming our favorite restaurant, Village!

Best fish fry and best chicken fingers. Bar food at its best – wonderful honey mustard and ask for extra lemons with the fish. They have nachos as big as your head – way too many for even the whole table to eat – but taste great.
Great place! Busy for a reason. Half the building is the bar, the other half the dining areas. Animated place with quick service.We always eat here on Friday night. Best fish fry this side of Wisconsin. Lunches are also good.
