This is my favorite place to go when traveling thru O’Hare …. I willl go out of my way to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner. Highly recommend and not sure why the rating is so low?
Killer freakin BloodyMary!!!For all you schmucks bothered over drink prices, it’s the freakin airport!I’m from Oklahoma so the isn’t some Chicago commerce stampede over your reviews. Grow some, get a drink at the airport like an adult, pay more because where the hell else are you going to find a cheaper drink, and wait for your departure! Enjoy the people and a cocktail, hell!, maybe some nostalgic airport soggy fries while your at it.
Nothing good here. Terrible burger. Cold fries. Wait staff acts like they are doing you a favor to serve you. Don’t understand how being sub average is OK to the owner.
Angus burger. The burger sucks .. bread is hard meat is dry and plain also u get one slice of tomato and no onions and no pickles. And charge for mayonnaise. Also it cost 11.00 dollars. . McDonald burger taste better.
The good news is they probably have an empty table for you.. Same as everyone, came here to pass time for a layover. Nice big place with good views of planes and lots of TVs. Returning from Mexico, I was craving a nice juicy burger. Well I wasn’t going to get it here.Burgers were very average, not cooked to order and small with big buns.Fries average like you would get from the snack counter at Kmart.Service the worst I’ve had in awhile. We sat with 4 empty glasses on our table for nearly 10 minutes and could not find out waiter. When he did come back he left all of our empty plates on the table. 5 minutes later some guy from the kitchen came and got them.20 minutes later and he still has not brought the check. Scratch that, 30 minutes now. Possible they are used to some folks hanging out to waste time but he has yet to come check on us, offer dessert, or bring the check.Nice enough guy, just a terrible waiter and food leaving me very unsatisfied.
I had an hour and a half layover so I decide to stop in for a burger. Unfortunately, one of the waitresses (mine) must have up and left randomly. The other waitresses tried to cover, but as a result I ended up waiting 45 minutes for my burger. My not likin this place was largely due to the horrible service.
Shady dealings. I just had two drinks and some food at the Cubs bar and grill at o’hare. I checked the menu and it did not have any prices for the liquor. I ordered two gin and tonics with the rail/house gin. It was certainly cheap in, but I was hoping to save a bit of money. When the bill came, it said I had been drinking beefeater. When I inquired, the bartender, nick, informed me that all gin except premium gin is one price—over 9 dollars—regardless of it being cheap well liquor or name brand like beefeater. I spent over twenty dollars to get two bottom-shelf gin and tonics. This is deeply deceptive on the part of the establishment. If I must pay good gin prices I should at least get the gin THAT IS LISTED ON MY BILL. Avoid this place
