Too bad i cant give a worse rating than 1. these people suck!!! The waitress was slow (which i don’t have a problem with as it was busy) but she was fairly unhelpful and didnt return to our table until we flagged her down to ask for our bill. Once i got home from my trip i noticed that they had refunded the amount that had been originally charged to my card and had charged me $2 more!!!!! how is that even possible? So on top of Charging my a staggering $10.58 for a pint they ended up charging me $12.58!!!! I would appreciate being contacted by this restaurant immediately to explain whats going on.
Liz provided Terrible service. Our 4 top had to ask several times for requests, such as coffee and ranch. Food was OK…. music was terrible. Table rocked back and forth terribly and I had to fix it… only time she was the least bit pleasant was when she dropped the check.
The beer was not bad, the waiter service, a little indifferent. The pizza was surprisingly small, but not bad tasting – I thought it was a bit overpriced at 11 bucks, but I figured it was an airport. What shocked me was the beers were $12 buck each. Now even for an airport, that is ridiculous. I tipped okay (only because I was a waiter for six years and know what it is like), but walked away spending $45 – for two beers and an individual tiny pizza. What a joke. I checked the menu and of course, no prices were listed for the beer. Nice shakedown, Goose Island. If the Goose Island brewery approves of this sort of shake down of customers, then they are awful human beings. Hate the fact, I got ripped off. Feel sick for having been there. I recommend that everyone stay away unless you are okay with throwing around money like a drunken sailor.
I never write reviews unless it is a good one because I am not a mean person however, I went to the Goose Island bar at Chicago O’hare by gate B3 and I paid $9.53 for a BUD LIGHT!!! I don’t want to hear the excuse that it is an airport. I have been to multiple airports and have never paid that much. I am disgusted with the greediness of that place and will NEVER go back there if they gave out free beer. I may only be one person but want to make sure that people see this so I can hopefully stop them from making a mistake! Just gross!
The food was good! I got the Classic Breakfast (over easy eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes). The potatoes were by far the highlight; the skin was crunch while the insides were soft. The bacon and eggs were decent, but the toast was pretty good. I mean it’s toast so that’s not hard.Overall, pretty good for an airport breakfast!
This review is for the Goose Island Brewery located in Terminal 3, Concourse L. If you have the misfortune of flying out of L, one bright spot is the Goose Island Brewery. The servers are very attentive, and the fish & chips I had there were outstanding. They are accustomed to serving people in a hurry, so everything happens right away. And it’s not a big concourse, so you’re never far way from your gate.
Blanddd. Definitely a brewing company, not a food company. Tables who arrived after us recieved their food before us, but that could be the actual food cook time itself for different orders. Calamari was bland and rubbery and cool with no seasoning, and our waiter was much the same. 312 wheat ale and house chips were fine though. Overall, 3 out of 10.
