Good food. Great options for veg. But extremely arrogant customer service by the African lady at the serving desk. She has no clue about what is customer service and behaving rude is her natural thing. If I see that lady over there I would avoid that place.
Was on my way back to India, this joint is on Terminal 5, which is very hard to locate, since all other terminals are together, except this one.And since there is only two counters for security check, the line to enter inside the Airport is an ordeal, takes 30 -40 mins for sure.This joint is right at the main eating area, opp Gate 10/11.Since beef is banned in Mumbai, even though Swiss Air serves good food, I decided to have my last steak before leaving America!There was a queue for both paying and then another one for the food to arrive.I ordered for Beef Sirloin Platter, which comes with Steak, Rice, Pita(Wrapped in foil), and sauces.The rice with the mango and tomato pieces in it tasted good!But the beef itself the quantity was a pittance, and taste was average-to-ok types.Since this was the only joint in the Terminal serving beef, I guess people have no choice, for 12$ I think it was a tad expensive, but then food prices are always high at Airports so I guess it averages out..
An embarrassment to service standards. The front line staff we’re all having an open argument about tips in front of the customers. At the tables, another big group of staff – some were cashing up but it was basically a large shouting / gossip match.No cutlery in the cutlery trays – I asked a supervisor for a fork, eventually found one and handed it to me but alas the cutlery bin stayed empty and other customers had to ask same.This place is basically lacking management. Customers don’t want to see staff debates and certainly not in the seating area.
Very disappointed. The staff is polite nevertheless I’ve waited for 10 minutes to be called to pick up my meal for which I eventually had to ask twice because it seems that the cook didn’t speak loud enough. Ackward since I was sitting 5 yds from the till. The meal itself was simply a disaster, and this is a weak euphemism. I asked for a basic bacon cheddar burger and French fries. The sandwich was filled with vinegar spilled all over the place and the bacon was a mixture of gum and rock with the taste of putrefaction. The French fries were comparable to the kind of cuisine you would eat while having launch at a cafeteria. It seems that my satisfaction was best fulfilled with the cold beer I had ordered. I don’t know if they gave me leftovers but It definitely looked like I’ve wasted 15 bucks for nothing.Would not recommend to anyone.
