Seating Problem. Twice now my family has gone there on Sunday afternoon (we are a party of 8 to 12) for lunch and were told we had a 20 minute wait. (We even called ahead. ) When we arrived we actually waited 45 minutes and both times wound up leaving. Not really worth that kind of wait.
Pecan Pumpkin Pancakes – Perfect!. Please tell me they still serve these! I moved away from Crystal Lake three years ago but I remember these pancakes like it was yesterday. Perfectly spiced, fluffy, not-too-sweet, melt-in-your-mouth pancakes with real vermont maple service. And the bacon… dont get me started on the bacon!In a nutshell, this place is a gem. It is always on my list of eateries when I visit home.
