Stay away from the fish fry
Went here once in the old location. It was small and service was pretty bad. The BBQ was mediocre at best. Head to Texas in Algonquin. Came here to note that summer 2013 I saw them at a booth at a fest in crystal lake. I decided to give them another try. I kid you not, they served me a frozen mc rib. Any BBQ place worth their salt wouldn’t dare but this place did it. I asked the kid serving up this slop and he reluctantly admitted that, yes, these were frozen rib sandwiches. Skip this place.
Have been here multiple times. Ribs excellent, large wine pour, but no draft beer. Service very spotty; sometimes good, sometimes poor.
Don’t bother!. We would love a great rib house in crystal lake since we live in town. This place doesn’t cut it! Go to Woodstock! It’s worth the 15 min drive!18 Dec, 2012Not even worth trying!
Awesome bbq …always packed…. Awesome bbq, worth the wait…friendly staff and owners….not sure how someone could comment that it is anything but, unless that is all you do for a living is complain and write negative comments. Our second time.
Rib slab was great! Meaty just ready to fall off the bone. Huge portion with excellent steak fries and mildly vinegar slaw. Best BBQ in this area.
Baby Back Ribs – the best. My husband and I have all over the and had lots of bbq….the baby back ribs here at the rib house are the most meaty tender and delicious of them all! Servers are nice … huge portions….had the buttered red potatoes….so good!
