Usually a good choice; however, today am giving them a low score. Sunday at 6:30 pm is a poor time to have run out of filet. It’s simply embarrassing to call yourself a steak house and not have a flagship dish! Manager was unavailable for comment. Service was also a bit chaotic.I promptly left and dined at Jameson’s Charhouse just down the street. That place was very busy but seated me promptly and the meal definitely met/exceeded expectations. Price was comparable, but the management at Jameson’s evidently has a far better handle on things. Freshly grilled octopus appetizer was delectable… Fresh as in flown in and nor frozen/thawed.I will likely nig return to Outback in Crystal Lake unless it’s a matter of indiscriminate convenience.
