Let’s be honest this place is not for dine in but would be an excellent choice for carryout and catering. Rasoi specializes in Gujarati food and serves the best kathiyavadi thalis!! Their made to order farsans, churma laddoo and bhajia are excellent. I wouldn’t rely on this place for north Indian, chaats, indo chinese etc. I had once ordered their paneer chilly and found too much food color in it. But if you’re in hunt for some bajra rotla, urad dal, ringna no olo, bateta shaak, khichdi & kadhi-rasoi is the place to hit. You’ll get the feel of eating homemade food in Gujarat!
Ah I wish there was a way to post a feedback with zero stars. I had been to this place multiple times, so the owner does recognize me. It was under renovation recently but was surprised to find water dripping from their ceiling and they had a bucket on the floor to catch it. This place sucks!! Here’s my ordeal: I placed an online order on Jul 22 through their website and go to the store to pick up; the guy says what order?. I say the one I placed on the website; he says his system (tablet) was weak (lol!! no joke) and that he didn’t receive the order. He then convinces me to take the order manually as it only takes him 30 mins to prepare it but half way thru he starts pulling out stuff from my order (saying he doesn’t have dough to make certain naan/kulchas) and for the rest of the dishes gives me a cost. I was surprised and said I already paid for the whole order; he responds well work with the payment team (mymozo- third party payment provider) to ask for refund as it wasn’t executed. I said, I paid to you and if you didn’t get the order from your own website; that’s your hassle not mine and that you should work with your vendor (payment management) to get this addressed. The guy said he can’t return my money as he doesn’t get any money on the order that he doesn’t execute and that I had to sort this issue with mymozo. If this is their behavior towards someone that had been here before; imagine if you are a newcomer. This is a fraud place with really bad customer service. I had a terrible experience and would never return!!!
