I wonder how this place has got negative reviews. I went there on a Sunday night. We ordered mutton Biryani, kadai mutton, garlic naan and lachha parantha. And gajar ka halwa. The highlight was the naan and the parantha, because I hadnt tasted freshly made Indian breads for the longest time ( unless I make at home). Most of the Indian/ Pak restaurants just heat frozen ones and add butter on top. But this was really really good. Kadai mutton was good and gajar ka halwa reminded me of Delhi. It was full of ghee, bright colour to which I was skeptical eating thinking even this might be frozen ones. But, the taste was awesome. I cdnt stop myself!!! Biryani was the bummer, the rice was too dry and could taste chilli powder as we asked em to make extra spicy. Maybe next time we wont mention it. The mutton was very tender and soft in both Biryani & kadai curry. Im gonna visit again for their naan & paranthas for sure.
One and star for ambiance only.. I had my dinner at this place with my family. We ordered Malai Kofta,Dal Makhaani and Chicken Handi in Entree. For appetizer we had samosas, which were very spicy and not upto the mark.Even the food was not good, especially malai kofta was not fully cooked. It’s not worth to spend money and time in here. instagram.com
I would give zero if possible. Or even negative!! Our worst evening at dinner anywhere…The level of rudeness of the owner/manager is appalling!! We had told him the rotis were not cooked through and the nihari was too salty to eat. We’ll be okay with the rotis but please take the nihari back. He said since you have tasted it, you have to pay for it! When we questioned this statement – we wouldn’t know it’s too salty without tasting 🙂 he asked us to leave and said he does not want customers like us who complain..he continued to rant and use derogatory remarks behind his screen door which we and all the other customers could clearly hear. Shocking!! 2 other customers left with us when we walked out in the middle of their meal. I guess his behavior was shocking to other people as well. Of course, we paid for everything including the nihari. Dinner and our whole evening was ruined. Food was average. I would never go back even if I was paid to go. If he is the owner, he does not deserve his business. If he is the manager, he deserves a visit from mystery diners!
