We had our rehersal brunch here. We were 30min late with a large party. The staff was more than accomodating. Several of our guests commented on how nice the place is.The food and service was great! One of the guys (possibly the manager or owner) I sadly forget his name. But man he took such good care of us.It couldnt have went any better. So happy we picked the Baked Apple.
One of the most popular breakfast joints near my neighborhood. I went for a brunch over the weekend and place was quite occupied even around 1 pm, which gave me good vibes for food coming in. The lady at reception counter is great both in making me feel comfortable and providing whatever is needed.I ordered Belgian waffle my all time favorite along with cream cheese stuffed banana French toast and a chicken hawk sandwich with fries as sider.All of them were tempting and good in taste as well as ample in quantity to fulfill your appetite. instagram.com
Amazing. I am from Indiana and came here over Thanksgiving weekend while visiting family. I tried the baked apple pancake and it was one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. Also, the service was good and the hostess was extremely friendly. I am looking forward to coming back here next time I am in town.
Always an enjoyable destination for me. After nine visits I have yet to get the same thing as there’s always a new interesting dish to try. Love to support the small family operations. Forget the big corporate spots and give them a try, you will not be disappointed. As seen on Chicago’s Best TV, Best of Ogden episode.
Visiting from out of town and happened upon this place. Great breakfast place with a pleasent staff. I had the meriachi skillet and bonfire pancakes. Excellent food. Would come back if I can.
Came here today with my family. Great service, great food, happy atmosphere! The ingredients used were fresh and of good quality. They accommodated our party of 10 people very easily. Quick service as well. Overall, I would go back and had a great experience.
Gem on Ogden – Great New Breakfast Place. My family and I came here on New Year’s Day. It was a new restaurant and we were hoping it was open. Not only was it open, but it was doing a booming business. We were polity greeted and then shown to a table. The restaurant is well lit, bright, and very clean. There is space between the tables for people to move about. The menu contains the expected breakfast foods plus some signature dishes. I ate the corned beef benny. The Hollandaise sauce was expertly made – just the right temperature and texture! I also tried the cream of broccoli soup – the chunks of broccoli were huge and very fresh with a crisp, clean cream broth. Everyone at my table enjoyed their meal very much. We even had a brief conversation with the owner, who is passionate about what he does and views this restaurant as a reflection of himself. I will be going again soon, I invite all other to try this Gem on Ogden out.
