Loved the whole dinner experience. Had a lovely, relaxing dinner with my family. The service & the food is excellent. A must go to place when visiting Evanston.
Excellent food. The pork rib eye was juicy and cooked to perfection. Warm chocolate cake was really an excellent little souffl. Great wine list. Wait staff was friendly, attentive and provided excellent service. Highly recommend.
Extremely slow service and rude staff. Food was ok but the service was so bad that I would never go back. Took forever to get water filled. Asked several times for salt and bread and never received it. Not accommodating for small children. Staff made several rude remarks to our table as well. Was there for 3 hours and don’t think I saw an employee smile once. Have never been treated so this way at any restaurant. Was very disappointed and offended. None of us will ever be back.
Tour de force. I was looking for a special place to take my mom out for a rememberable evening. A friend recommended Chef’s Station. The environment was ultra cozy. The food, service, and selection of wines won us both over from the get go. I especially enjoyed the huge turtle sundae. My mom is looking forward to a repeat performance. This place is the real deal…a tour de force. I shall return.
An Exquisite Evanston 5 star Experience. I found a New American Contemporary gem in Evanston, IL. The souffle appetizer was outstanding. The rack of Lamb entree was flavorful and fantastic. The wine selection amazing and at a fair price. The desert was gorgeous. Inside dining was intimate and I could hear my guests speak without shouting! Elegant fine dining without the hassle of downtown.
STRANGE. A weird room with nicely prepered food. A curiosity rather than a destination.
Rude Rude. Food is great as well as servers. Owner is very rude and not professional. He asks people to leave as soon as they finish eating. We eat at all of the fine restaurants in the city and have never seen anything like this. We will not be returning.
