One of the best places for breakfast/ brunch in Evanston. For me it always starts with the freshly squeezed orange juice. Their pancakes are to doe for. The omelette are fluffy and yummy…my favourite being the vegetable Omlette with Greek bread. The portion size is quite large .. so go with good appetite and enjoy the food .

Just another diner.. I came to Golden Olympic under the impression that I was having lunch in a Greek restaurant. However, one look at the ambiance and their overwhelmingly long menu and it was obvious that I was in a typical diner with a few Greek-inspired options. The staff is fast and very friendly. The food is served in big portions and the quality is as good as one would expect from any diner, but it’s not a Greek restaurant. Another issue is Golden Olympic is rather expensive and a $30 bill for two can be better spent on another Evanston restaurant.
