Service consistently isI awful, whether waiting for a table, to order, follow-up and getting bill SLOW doesn’t cover it. They just act like they don’t care and I’ve tried them more then once and it’s always the same.
The Caribbean Pumpkin soup and Gouda Burger were delicious.
Forgettable food. The atmosphere at Lucky Platter is eclectic, the food is forgettable. Very bland and boring.

A really unique place with great food. Love the funky decor (paint-by-number pictures!) and waitstaff. Food and beverages are all sooo good!
This my favorite restaurant in Evanston, too. California burger is where it’s at, though it is certainly not the only thing worth going there for. Seasonal desserts have been a hit with me as well. Key lime pie and pumpkin pie made with real pumpkin? Yes please!
