This place is a decent and reasonable option for Indian food in Evanston. They have a good lunch special. And a great thali complete with dessert for an affordable price. This is the place if you want a quick low key meal. It’s not much in ambience.I recommend trying their aloo masala and bhindi.
I really liked the food here. The spices we nuanced and the Flavors were superb. The service was slow, as they do a big Carry Out business and it was a Friday night, but it was OK.
I’m a fan. Great food and great prices. I’m new to the area and I love Indian cuisine, so I was very excited to learn that there was a restaurant in town, and Bombay did not disappoint. I went there the other day to carry out two dinners, and they had them ready to go in about 10 min. Something to keep in mind, their hours are listed, but they are closed from 2:30-5:00 everyday.
