Not so good sushi. Some of the worst sushi, I’ve had in the Evanston area. The fish was not fresh and they camouflage it with sauce. There are much better options in Evanston, like the new all you can eat place.. You know at least they turn over their fish supply. The sushi from Whole Foods and Jewel is even fresher, with stricter quality control. It does not pay to save a couple of dollars for sushi that can make you sick.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, since I had never been for sushi in Chicago and never for lunch. Te place looked tiny at first, and it was, but it packed a big whallop. I had the sumogodzilla and loved it. My friends and family had the edamame, the California roll and a shitake mushroom roll. It was all outstanding.

Worst sushi I’ve ever had. Edamame was over cooked. Hamachi in the Mexican maki was definitely not yellowtail. Overpriced for what it is and you’re better off heading to Jewel for sushi.

Great food and service. Very fresh, one of my fav’s..

I was quite pleased. Prices are lower than most. California rolls are priced at $3.50 but the other rolls are higher. Sushi was good, but the avacado in my sushi was not ripe enough, and therefore hard with an unpleasant taste. Other than that it was ok. Overall Rating: 7/10

Best of the Best. Sashimi Sashimi is by far the best Sushi in Evanston. They have an amazing staff of chefs and they never forget anything in your order. They don’t really have a fancy dining area, however, their prices are amazing.
