Alpana got it right with this place. The food is excellent. We really enjoyed the crostini with burrata and the mushroom aranciata. I really liked the mushroom orecchiette but the salmon is better at Boarding house. Like the celery slaw with the salmon. Very good cocktails and wine selection. Great bar, underutilized!
We were here just after opening night so some adjustments should be anticipated as they fine tune things. The restaurant was packed but not overly so and we ended up at a counter area; it was loud and hard to hear each other. We started with the Margarita pizza; it was just fine, but nothing special. The pastas we were the hit of the evening. The spinach and goat cheese agnolotti and th e ricotta gnocchi were not too heavy and we really liked the dishes. The spaghetti bolognese was heavier but well prepared and hit the spot. The one negative was the sauted rapini which was way too salty. The best part of the evening was our server, Hank. His positive attitude and explanation of the cooking stations we appreciated.
