Portillos is superior to the competition and excellent in producing and selling its products. Well run, efficient and professional. Anything on a bun with fries together with lots of other menu items are all done well. Fully recommended.
The watermelon salad may have been the best thing I’ve ever eaten with the coconut panacotta being a close second! The staff was friendly and that atmosphere was delightful! Best meal I had in Chicago by far!
Exceptional. This is one of my favorite unexpected finds recently. The ambiance is great for a date or to socialize with friends. We ordered the tempura, which was not overly-battered, the vegetables were delicious and the dipping sauces were unique, the plantain crusted shrimp which was one of the most unique and well executed dishes I’ve had recently, and the lamb chops, which were a very large portion for the price and cooked perfectly. We will definitely be back, bravo.
The lamb hamburger is extraordinarily delicious!
Excellent Tapas. This is the more casual, tapas-oriented place connected to The Stained Glass. My friends Stuart and Camille took me here and I was very impressed. Every we had was creative and excellent. If I had to pick the weakest it might have been the bleu cheese beignets, but they weren’t bad, just not as good as the rest. It can get pricey at $10 per small plate (you’ll eat about 3 each, plus drinks), worth every cent.
Went for Valentine’s dinner. Place was packed and the staff never missed a beat. Food was great and did not suffer because of the crowd. Highly recommend!
Nice place. Good food, good wine, reasonable prices what more?
