Delicious specialty pizzas and cool vibe. We had an excellent meal here! Pizza was out and cooked pretty quickly and was excellent. We had the prosciutto and arugula as well as the bread pudding and gelato dessert. The waitress was friendly and helped us choose our pizza. The atmosphere is a bit dark with quite a bit of room ambiance from people chatting and background music, which we were totally cool with.
Really nice vibe in this restaurant ate at the bar to avoid the wait of over an hour pizza was good beer selection was good I think a little over priced but it was clearly unique
Overpriced wine. Average salad, Very good pizza, nice service. However…. wine is way overpriced…. we’re talking here about $8 – $11 for about 6 or 7 oz of wine. Runs the bill way up.
Best Pizza EVER. I stumbled across this lovely joint knowing only that it had outstanding reviews and pizza. I walked into the slightly abstract and eclectic atmosphere and knew it was going to be a different kind of experience. From the floating lights above the HUGE bar to the crowds gathered on couches adorned w/ colorful pillows, Union felt cozy despite the industrial chic vibe. Though the place was crowded, my family was seated immediately and the tables were comfortably spaced, so it wasn’t too noisy. I enjoyed neapolitan style margherita pizza that was AMAZING&my family loved their meal as well. The chocolate brownie was one of the best we’ve ever had and we look forward to coming back SOON.
Pizza is outstanding. I’ve only had better in NYC, and this is a close second.
Friends of mine, Evanston residents, took me to dinner at Union Pizzeria last night. The service was excellent as was the food. I started with a Caesar salad and had the 4-cheese pizza. The salad dressing was light and the pizza crust was perfect. The tomato sauce was very fresh. A great meal!
