West Suburb BBQ NO. I never thought that I could have bar-b-que that was tasteless, this was it. The sauce was watery and lack the bold flavor I’m used to in sauces. I also had catfish which was the absolute worst thing I’ve ever eaten. The fish was breaded with some type of crust that did not stick to the fish. I believe it was a bread based crust because the inner side of the crust was soggy which is a major no no to cooking fish. I use cornmeal to bread my fish and there was no cornmeal used at all to cook this fish. In the back of the restaurant was this big clear bin of all the end bread pieces in it. I believe this is what they use as a coating for their fried foods. Did I mention that this bin was not covered and exposed to all kinds of germs and dirt. The dessert taste like they are made for a diabetic person. The sweet potato pie needed more sugar and the banana pudding was bland. I enjoy talking to the cook/owner which was the best part of this restaurant.

Old school down south style. Sweet BBQ sauce and the works. The presentations a little lack luster but looks can be deceiving 😉
