This is a great local bar. The food is good bar food. Lively bar with a great outdoor patio. Had a bunch of appetizers and everything was good. Spinach artichoke dip was phenomenal.
Worth repeat visits. We dined in the upstairs room. The surroundings were extremely comfortable. The menu has something for every taste. Food and presentation excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. High marks all around!

2nd time my wife and I have had dinner and the last, the food was very good and the remodeled building is beutiful, but the service was horrible both times, twice the server wanted to seat us in the back in a booth made for at least 6 people, when we asked for a small booth or table we were treated as if we were being demanding, when it came time for our check we waited almost 15 mins while 4 employees, 4! stood at the bar laughing and making 2 cosmos for a couple having drinks, Hint: service is everything and I will be at Hackneys next Friday!
Outstanding meal. We ate at the Glenview House lasst night and enjoyed every bite. Ahi Tuna appetizer, Root Salad, veggie wrap are highly recommended. Save room for the Chocolate Wedge! 50statesofwine.com
A bit of a disappointment. My son and I ate here one Saturday night, and we both ordered two different pasta dishes. The portions were small, and the restaurant scrimped on the sausage (mine) and shrimp (his). All in all quite over-priced. It cost us $60 for the two of us, though I did have a glass of Malbeck. It’s too bad-we live only two blocks away.
