Great food and service. Never been disappointed here. Great menu, foods always prepared as ordered. If I’m not mistaken, Johnny’s is part of the Jimmy’s Char House group. Consistent quality and service from a well run restaurant.
When you hear the name Johnny’s Tap you immediately think small local neighborhood dive bar. That misconception kept me from going in for years. This misconception couldn’t be further from reality. It is a semi formal sit down dining establishment. The smokey essence from their wood fired grill permeates the restaurant. The wood fired chicken is delicious, as is the homemade mashed potato side. You have got to try them with their gravy. (have to ask for it). It has after notes of a hint of pumpkin spice. The menu is varied and has something for everyone. The service is spot on. This place is a local gem.
Recommendation. The bar snacks are supposed to be good here.
Johnies. We ate there last night and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The quality of the food was excellent and the service was very good. They offer daily specials which are great values. i thought they should offer more than one type of soup
