Light Dinner at sunset was very nice. It has been a few years since the last time I was here–when it was a little tiny spot perched on the hillside. Now they have 2 buildings, a double deck restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating as well as a separate building for private events. My GF and I went up for dinner and to watch the sunset last weekend. The view is spectacular (even if it is a southern view instead of to the west). We each had a nice glass of wine and we tried the grilled shrimp and the Tuscan pizza. And even though our server seemed a bit young and new on the job, she did a pretty good job. This isn’t gourmet food, but it wasn’t bad. Perhaps they aren’t as adept at handling large groups, as others have complained of, but the night we were there everything seemed to be running smooth. The live music was good and we had a great time.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!. Beautiful view, but the worst service I have ever had in my life. Came with a group of about 17 for lunch (tried to call ahead of time but they did not take reservations), most of which were family members who had traveled from far out of town for this event. We waited over 2 hours after ordering for our food, and then were informed that they had not even started our order. Other tables had come and gone in the meantime, serviced promptly. We were very patient until the end, as we knew that we had a large group. The manager gave the few appetizers that a couple of us had ordered for free, but charged all of us full price on drinks and did not give us an explanation on why we didn’t receive our food. We had all come on a charter bus from Saint Louis to spend the day in Grafton to shop and eat, and we didn’t have time to shop after this experience and we were all starving. All else aside, the view is amazing. I would very strongly recommend going to Aerie for a quick glass of wine and heading back into town to eat.

Absolutely Terrible!!!. Beware – this place is not about serving food or providing customer service. Went here today with a group of 18 for lunch. While the place seemed busy, there were plenty of empty tables. We ordered lunch and wine. Wine was slow to arrive. A few people at our table ordered appetizers, which arrived shortly after the wine. Many at our table went to get their own water, since it was not brought to the table, even when requested. Since we were kind of a big group, we were not overly concerned that our food was taking a while and we tried to be good sports about it. Several people commented to our waiter that our food was taking a long time. He said they were busy, so the kitchen was a little backed up. 1 1/2 hours after we ordered, still no food. Inquired again about food and learned that they actually had not even started to prepare our food. After 2 hours, we had wine, our checks and no food. Spoke with the manager to express dissatisfaction, and the explanation I received was that several groups arrived within a short time of one another and they got busy. If they had told us that they were really busy and it would take 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get our meals, we would have gone someplace else! I wondered if it was all a scam to get us to keep buying wine!??? There was no reduction on our bill as compensation for our wait. We had come on a bus to Grafton to eat and shop. We did not get to do either.

Horrible. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. We waited 2 hours for food only to find out our food order had been canceled. The waiter was nice but the manager was horrible and left our whole group very upset. I do NOT recommend dining at this establishment.

Don’t waste your time or money here!. This place sucks! The view is great but the hospitality is awful. The owner/manager (a rude fat guy riding around on a four wheeler) is not friendly at all and very much lacks people skills. Visit the winery at the bottom of the hill for friendlier service.

Food order took over 2 hours. Cool place but not worth putting up with rude and slow service. Almost unbelievable
