It was a chaotic day in Grafton. But, we get to Aeries, there’s parking, there’s tables, it’s not out of control kind of situation. Scott & I get a table, order drinks & wait to order our meals until our friends show up. We find out they may not be coming so we go ahead and order our meals. A turkey pita for Scott, shrimp appetizer that I was going to put on my house salad. Then 10 min. later we find out our friends are coming. They show up, one shares my bottle of wine theother orders a mixed drink. They also order their meals. They were told as they entered that it was a 2 hour wait on meals ordered. By now Scott & I have been waiting 30 min. for our meal. Within 10 min. our friends got their meals & we still waited for ours. Our waiter said my grilled shrimp delayed our meals. Scott ordered the same thing our friend did. How long does it take to grill shrimp. After an hour my shrimp came, but everything else was still being prepared. Our friends were done with their meal. We finally sent my shrimp back & told them we wanted our bill. We were done. They then gave our friends who had their meals in record time a free meal & we paid for the drinks!!!! Seriously!!!! I haven’t liked Aeries since they changed their criteria & I like them even less now. To top it off they knew it was our anniversary. Cheap cheap cheap way of running things. Oh, we were told we would get a free meal when we came back. No business card or note to prove it should we go back. Who out there thinks that will be honored by word mouth.

Appetizers were delishious, entrees were over done & I was too afraid to send them back because of the time factor & too hungry to walk w/o eating:( Not a place I would recommend or return to anytime soon.
