Somewhat Kung Pao. Took the girl I am dating to this restaurant and thought it was alright. We started out with one sever who took our drink order and then a different server took our food order and then a different server took care of the check, was weird. I ordered Kung Pao Chicken (the spicy version) with Thai Iced Tea and my girlfriend ordered Pad Thai and Pibb for a total of $33.65 with tax. It was a little irritating cause the first girl server asked if we wanted boxes and I wasn’t done eating yet (kind of annoying when you’re still eating). She brought the boxes, then the check even though I was still eating. Then she kept asking if the check was ready (like 3 times). I’m still not done eating yet, geeez! lol Anyways, gave a 10% tip. It’s located right across from Six Flags and is in a weird location (in a semi-deserted strip mall). Definitely worth going to one time for the food, service just wasn’t as great as it could be.

Getting from Bad to Worse. I have always loved the food at Royal Thai and have gone to Royal Thai very frequently, However it seems like they are going from bad to worse.. the last time I ate there, I sat around for 40 mins after ordering, reminded the server about our order and he brought out food we did not order and it all strated over.. . More than once (actually the last 3 times). I have ordered, paid, picked up food and came home to find out that something that I had been charged for, is missing. I can understand it being a mistake once or twice, but every time… Its carelessness or willfull cheating..I called them and asked them to have the missed item delivered to my place and was told that they dont have time or people to fix their mistake. I needed to drive all the way back to pick up the food. So with guests waiting at home I had to drive 25 mins to go pick up the food again. I asked to talk to Sue (the owner) and she told me that I should go back to my guests rather than wasting my time talking to her.. In a neighborhood where thai food is available in PLENTY, I know there is one place where I will not be ever dining or ordering out of anymore. Having good food isnt enough, you need to really care for your patrons, especially the ones who spread the word about you and show a willingness to make up for your mistakes. and offering to refund the money for that dish does not cut it.. Its not about free food…

Food was decent but the worst service I have ever had. All of our meals came out at different times after a long wait. Mine didn’t even come until I told the bus boy who was going to clear our table. The waitress avoided us completely. Other tables appeared to have been on long waits as well.

Food is so, so and wait staff is un attentive especially if you are a woman. Would not recommend.

Excellent!. We started out with an appetizer of the wonton prawns (with a pineapple sauce) and Tom Yum soup with shrimp. The soup was very good – instead of a red tomato-based soup, it was clear with a citrus-y flavor. Our main dishes were the Rama Noodles and Massamun curry with chicken. Both dishes were very tasty and were generous portions. Restaurant has a nice decor, very simple and quiet. Wait staff helpful and friendly, we’ll definitely be visiting again!

The world’s best shrimp dumplings can be found at this quaint, family restaurant. If you like tofu, it’s done amazingly well here, but don’t worry if you prefer meat dishes! Great spices, fabulous flavors and what can only be described as sweet and kind wait staff make this restaurant a great choice!
