The food here is great.. But the ambience is a bit stale – not necessarily in a bad way, kind of how your mother’s house hasn’t changed for 20 years.
Outstanding!. One of my all time best meals. My wife and I both did the Chef’s tasting (not exactly what it was called) and the only choice we had to make was meat or fish for the entree. Meal consisted of 3 small cold appetizers, 3 small hot appetizers, and 3 small entrees. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The lamb chops in my entree were the best I’ve ever had. Then came the dessert assortment. Between my wife and I we had about a dozed different desserts (in small quantities), most of which were fantastic. The waiter also did a wine pairing for us that worked nicely. Very nice wine list with a good range of price points, although somewhat limited selection by the glass.Service was attentive without being over the top. Nice comfortable decor (perhaps a little out of date). We were there early so I can’t comment on the noise level when they’re full.It was quite apparent that the restaurant has a lot of regulars. The waitstaff was greeting many by name and catching up with them.Only a couple of cons – rather pricey (at least when you do the tasting menu) and their stemware is poor. Having my wine in a decent glass is a pet peeve – their glasses were small & heavy glass like you’d buy in a discount store. Maybe I’ll bring my own next time. 😉
Wonderful! Wonderful!. Just went to Frogg’s last night after not dinning there for over a year. It is and has remained excellent. I am no longer going to look for any other moderately priced French food. Entering the charming restaurant one is transported to a cafe in Paris. The owners are charming, the wait staff is top notch, the atmosphere is charming and not up tight. I just love this restaurant. /recommend it to all who love France and French food.

Wonderful restaurant, service, food and atmosphere tops. Recommend the scallops, French onion soup, desserts are all great.
Fun; expensive. Nice laid-back but kind of fancy-ish atmosphere. The escargot is delicious, I never thought I would eat snails, but they are quite delicious. I’d say it’s pretty good, but the portions range wildly from too small to too big, and a lot of it’s too expensive.
