Kilwins – This outlet have treasure of chocolates and ice cream. I loved this place during my stay in Hyatt Hyde Park.This outlet have huge variety of chocolates and ice-creams and have unique packaging and chocolates with different taste and shapes and for all occasions. Whenever I want to satisfy my sweet tooth I went to this place, you just pass by from the outlet and you smell the chocolate fragrances, vanilla and the baking of waffle which attracts you towards this outlet.I loved this joint and will definitely looking forward towards my next visit to Chicago and visit this place.Keep it up!! Yummy!. I LOVE this place! From the second you walk in the door you smell fresh waffles baking and there is all kinds of chocolate dipped candy, apples and nuts to choose from. We had many different samples of ice creams before everyone decided on their fav scoops to have on a waffle cone.The staff were very friendly and helpful, unfortunately, the girl working didnt know all the ingredients and my husband is celiac, so he had to pass on eveything to be on the safe side. I was told that the ice creams are all made off site, so the staff didnt know what was in them. This is the a draw back for people with allergies.There is a place in Canada that we went to called Chill that puts the ingredients on all the ice creams and yogurts, so you konw what your eating. Maybe check out their store Kilwins! Funny that our friends from out of town were the ones that wanted to take us here to try it out & we are the ones that live in Chicago! All in all, a new fav place for me & the girls to go to : ) It was great!
