Great Chicken, Excellent Service, Wonderful Quick Family Meals. We have an active 11 year old daughter and 8 year old son. After school and evening stuff all the time. We just can’t always make it home for a sit down meal, McDonalds is out of the question for oh so many reasons.So we tried Chicken Works and Salad Company one night. Kids & I love chicken, my wife was thrilled with the vegetarian options. We could have a meal that tasted home cooked and was a hell of a lot healthier than many others we could get. AND, we help keep a local small business owner in business. What makes good chicken is pretty simple for me. Juicy meat, tasty skin, affordable meals. The chicken is GREAT. The sides are home made, and the portions are perfect. The salad bar always looks wonderful, and the owner and gang that work there always treat you like they sincerely want you to like the food, the experience and they WANT you to like it and come back.We will, because they make it easy to do that. Sure, sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for the chicken to get delivered to your table when they are a bit busy, but they always make you feel like they made that meal just for you. I am glad as heck to have them as a dinner option on busy days, and it thrills me to know that they are in our neighborhood. I hope they are here for many a year with their great meals and happy service. PS – get rid of the TVs, play music. Better for a family meal that way.
