A very welcome and different Joliet taco joint. There are plenty of taco joints in Joliet, and some are very good. But all seem to lack imagination and hardly differentiate themselves from one other. Enter Blue Taco. This place is all about flavors and color, and they nail it. I’ve eaten here 4 times now and every time they blow my mind. I just had their Jerk taco – AMAZING! Just try one and you’ll see what I’m talking about. The Cuban is also tasty. I go there anytime I can and always talk them up to my family and friends. The only negative I can think of is their weekend hours. But that’s more of an issue with the downtown Joliet area, which is dead after work hours. But I hope that establishments like Blue Taco can help revive Joliet’s downtown scene.
