I was kind of disappointed in my experience here to be honest. The place is well situated in the downtown area of Joliet but parking is problematic. It was further complicated by a film shoot in the area that blocked of sections of the already sparse parking in the area.The interior has a nice pub-like feel although suffers from the overly loud music that made it feel more bar and less pub like. Service was not great- the place wasnt busy but I had a fair wait for a table, another for a drink order and another for the bill (food order and service from the kitchen were better).Beer selection is decent and includes some local options, a big plus. Food, unfortunately, was not good. Ceasar salad was heavy on the dressing, probably to cover the wilted greens and oddly bitter taste. BBQ chicken pizza was promising – thin crust, nice sauce, lots of chicken. Regrettably it was burnt and the crust therefore overwhelmed the rest. Too bad.Price wise it was fair for the order – a little over $40 bar and tip in; it didnt feel like value though, given the quality. I dont think Id try it again.
