I absolutely love this restaurant! You cannot beat the great quality sushi for for the great quality price. My coworker/friend have lunch here regularly and my husband and I frequent it for dinner. We have never had a bad experience. Even while pregnant, I couldn’t stay away. I had to at least have a california roll. It is a casual atmosphere. You don’t have to be an upscale reaturant to have good food. If you are not a fan of sushi then you can also order from the hibachi menu which is just as delish!
I have been to Sushi Ya over a dozen times and love the sushi here. Its made to order and fresh. Sometimes, there’s a wait but all in all worth the all you can eat price. I’ve been to a whole lot of sushi places in Chicago and beyond and this one is recommended.
Nice. My Husband and I went during lunch. It was very nice. I liked the open and clean atmosphere. The food was good (expensive for lunch). The wait staff needs training in dealing with public.
Never Again. Awful place.Impolite Staff, Bland Food, too pricey and overcharge you…Keep your $$ and go elsewhere
Not great, edible but not great. Sushi did not seem very fresh, typical of a run of the mill midwestern sushi joint. Staff has an attitude but not in a horrendous way.
BLAND!!!. The sushi was bland, not much flavor, spicy rolls were not spicy. Horrible decor, very uninviting. Would not recommend and certainly will not return.
