A-mexic-azing. Travelling from Canada and found myself in the quiet suburb of St. Charles. The taxi driver pointed me in the direction of a local favourite which was across the street, but after looking at their prices and not wanting to pay $30 for their least expensive entre I found myself wandering over to Peubla. What a lovely surprise. This fresh, new, modern restaurant has high tables and comfortable chairs, (the two are rarely synonymous) a touch of Mexican decor but with a fresh modern flare. The staff were super friendly and arrived immediately with home made corn chips and bean dip. This got me started and whet my appetite for their great selection of gluten-free-friendly menu options. I had the pork enchiladas with the corn and the rice. Beautiful presentation and amazing flavours. This is was the best Mexican food I’ve had to date and the gluten-free options made it a total winner. I would seek this restaurant out again if I was in the area
