Service and server was good. Onion rings were great, ordered a chopped salad. Salad was brown iceberg lettuce, bitter and not fresh. Won’t be going back.
Do not go here! A friend and I went here for dinner on October 7th drawn in by the nice atmosphere but it stops there unfortunately. Service was average but the food we ordered was all wrong and it took nearly 40 minutes to get the food while we froze in the drafty dining room. I ordered my filet medium rare with a side of asparagus, sadly what I got was a medium well filet with stringy over cooked asparagus. My friend ordered a St. Charles burger with lettuce, jalapenos, avocado, and mango-bbq sauce medium well and received an over well done dry burger with no mango-bbq and no avocado. I ended up sending my steak back and ordering pasta instead which was just ok. A manager never came by to apologize nor did they offer to cover our appetizer or dessert for the trouble. Very disappointed and will not be back.
It was clean, staff was very attentive. I would try again. Loren was very good.
Sat a high top table near the bar. It was very crowded so I kept getting bumped in the back by the wait staff and other diners waiting to be seated. I heard the patio is the place to sit. Great selection of beers. We had the pretzels (too salty) and nachos (delicious pulled pork). The French fries were too salty. I had the pulled pork sandwich that was delicious but too greasy on the bottom. Rest of the party liked their entrees.
Cramped and Noisy. I ate here about 3:00 PM and it was only my party of 2 and a party of 4 about 2 tables down. The acoustics in this place are TERRIBLE. It turned into a shouting contest after 10 minutes after both tables were trying to talk over each other. The restaurant was very warm as well and only had about 4 low tables and the rest were high pub tables.Service was ok. The temperature outside was 95 degrees and the waitress stopped by to ask if we wanted refills rather than just taking the initiative to get them. We ordered our food and I asked for fries instead of chips, and for some reason her answer was ‘only those seated on the patio can have fries.’ However, the table next to me received fries. The food was exceptional. I had the angus burger and it was quite literally one of the best hamburgers I ever had. For $12, it very well should be!The liquor menu is vast. Many beers not found anywhere else, including an apple cider ale for $12 a glass.
Wait staff was exceptionally nice and the Butternut Squash Salad was delicious. Dining companions both enjoyed their meals, as well. Will definitely go again.
Like the new decor compared to the old McNally’s; service is sub par. Food is poor; eaten there 3 times and had to send back all 3 plates. Apparently they don’t serve warm food.
